Equipment To Be In Division Vehicles At All Times
I. Required Vehicle Equipment
A. Unmarked police vehicles will be equipped with:
- An emergency light, dash, visor, or window mount.
- A siren.
- A mobile radio transceiver.
B. In addition, unmarked police vehicles will be equipped with the following equipment:
- Flashlight
- Gas card (Exxon)
- Pro-Kee (State Fueling Sites)
- Vehicle maintenance card
- Seat belts
- Spare tire and jack
- Accident report kit
- Gun box
C. Sworn members are required to carry the following items in their vehicle or on their person (if certified to use):
- Issued handgun
- Handcuffs
- Portable radio
- Binoculars
- Vest
- Flex cuffs and cutter
- OC spray
- ASP Baton (if issued)
- Badge and identification
- Cellular phone
- Raid jacket
- Exxon credit card. (when you can’t get to a state fueling site)
- Agent’s investigative cash advance
- Reflective Vest
- First Aid Bag
D. Inspectors are issued and shall carry in their vehicle:
- Zeltex octane analyzer
- Motor fuel sample cans
- Gasoline can (fuel pump line flush)
- Various funnels
- Lined gauge tape
- Water detection paste
- Plum bob (measurement for inches of water)
- Safety equipment (gloves, goggles, hard hat, coveralls, and a reflective vest)
- Dyed fuel sampling equipment
- Bottom load adaptor (if assigned)
- Fuel sampling thieves (for fuel storage tanks)
- Fire extinguisher
- Inspectors investigative cash advance
- Exxon credit card. (When you can’t get to a state fueling site)
