Service Impact Notice December 24-26

Governor Moore has declared that Maryland state government will be closed on Wednesday, December 24 in observance of Christmas Eve. State offices will also be closed on Christmas Day, December 25. Liberal leave will be in effect for state employees on Friday, December 26. As a result, service at Comptroller branch offices and call centers may be impacted.

Roles & Responsibilities

The Comptroller of Maryland is tasked with supporting other state agencies via payroll, accounting, procurement, technology and other critical operations to keep Maryland running efficiently and on time.

This support is provided primarily by three divisions - Central Payroll, General Accounting, and the Office of State Financial Innovations.
